I interned at The Borgen Project over the summer of 2023. It was a great experience where I was given interesting tasks to complete every week that helped develop key work-place competencies and gave me an insight into how lobbying works as well as how Non-Profit organisations are ran.
What I wish was different
More communication with other interns.
Advice
Get involved and be persistent when contacting your MP and other organisations. Research different ways to look at the issues but mostly get involved as much as possible and enjoy!
