The Borgen Project

About The Borgen Project

From CNN to The Huffington Post, the world is talking about the innovative movement that is downsizing global poverty. The Borgen Project believes that the leaders of the most powerful nations should be doing more to address global poverty. This nonprofit organisation is working to make poverty a focus of UK and U.S. foreign policy.

All of our programmes are FULLY REMOTE and provide experience in mobilising and fundraising, coupled with real industry exposure and an insight into the nonprofit world.

Each role has a dedicated manager who will guide you through your programme, ensuring key weekly objectives are met, along with additional orientation, 101 training sessions and check-in calls.

Non-profit leadership Intern

June 2023 - September 2023 Glasgow, Scotland
“I interned at The Borgen Project over the summer of 2023. It was a great experience where I was given interesting tasks to complete every week that helped develop key work-place competencies and gave me an insight into how lobbying works as well as how Non-Profit organisations are ran.”
