Communications Specialist Intern

Global Think Group (GTG) is looking to hire Communications Specialist Interns to help our Content Division with desktop research, gathering and checking data, and writing short and long-form content for our clients.

As a member of GTG's Content Division, you’ll work closely with the communications consulting teams to understand the strategic and communications needs of high-profile clients, conduct research on various fields and sectors and develop high-quality content assets.

You’ll work on a wide range of projects, including websites, social media, video scripts, research, data checking, and more, while coordinating with consultants to ensure every content deliverable is finished to the highest standard.

Strategic thinking, interest in economic, trade, political, and sustainable development topics, high levels of conscientiousness, and a passion for accuracy are the key competencies we are looking for.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research industry-related data, trends, topics, and news
  • Factchecking and data confirmation
  • Writing content targeting different audiences and platforms
  • Prepare well-structured content outlines and draft content outputs including but not limited to reports, presentations, press releases, speeches, talking points, and web pages
  • Create and draft social media content calendars
  • Provide project team members with editorial, creative, and technical support
  • Support the project teams in managing client expectations, timelines, and Gantt charts

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A final year student or a recent graduate in business, economics, journalism, public relations or a relevant field
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create content that is engaging and compelling to the target audience
  • Data analysis, data sourcing, and data checking
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • Creativity and ability to develop original content from raw data and materials
  • Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines
  • Self-motivation and strong work ethic
